York Girls Lax: Rules

Rules

Indoor Rules:

This is like half court basketball. There are no boundaries, and girls can play the ball off the wall. Whistle will be blown for normal fouls, as well as dangerous play.

Attack:

1. To score, there must be 3 passes.
2. If the ball is dropped, the first team to the ball will gain possession.
3. If the ball hits the shooting net, the other team will get the ball.
4. Players may not step in the crease. Opposing team will get the ball.
5. Score as many goals as possible in 30 mins. This will determine your standing for the final week championship game.

Defense:

1. Legal checking is allowed.
2. Players can play tight on the body without pushing.
3. If defense pushes, the other team will get the ball at the top of the court.
4. After each goal, the opposing team gets the ball at the top of the court.
